Domestic Violence Shelter’s tax credits allow qualified donors to maximize the impact of a donation to support Preferred Family Healthcare’s domestic violence shelters.
Qualified donors who make a monetary donation of $500 or more toward Preferred Family Healthcare’s domestic violence shelters are eligible to apply for the tax credits. These are considered 70% tax credits, meaning you could receive 70% of your donation back during tax time if you receive the credit. Preferred Family Healthcare’s domestic violence shelters would keep the full original donation.
Who can claim this Domestic Violence Shelter Tax Credit?
Payment types accepted are cash, check, and credit card.
How do I make a donation that is eligible?
A donation of $500 or more has to be restricted to the Preferred Family Healthcare domestic violence shelters. Therefore, you will need to make a note when you make your donation that it should be restricted to these shelters and that you are interested in tax credits. If there is not an opportunity to make a note, please email sprice@placesforpeople.org and include your note.
