Personal Responsibility Education Program

The Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) focuses on providing evidence-based pregnancy prevention programs to youth ages 14-19 who are participating in the Chafee Independence Program, those involved in other participating community youth agencies, or others who show an interest in the program. The course typically is provided in two 5-hour sessions. Some of the topics include:

  • HIV – Human Immunodeficiency Virus
  • AIDS – Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome
  • STI – Sexually Transmitted Infections
  • Pregnancy Prevention

Preferred Family Healthcare is contracted to provide PREP services in the following Missouri counties:

  • SW Region- Bates, Lawrence and Douglas
  • SE Region – Oregon, Stoddard and Dent
  • NW Region- Buchanan, Pettis, and Grundy
