Assertive Community Treatment for Transitional Aged Youth (ACTTAY) is a way of delivering a full range of behavioral health and substance use services to young adults ages 16-25 who have a suspected mental health diagnosis with or without an additional substance use challenge.
ACTTAY provides intensive outpatient treatment, individualized care, appointments 3-5 days per week, time-unlimited services, evidenced-based interventions, integrated care, medication management, group education, and 24/7 crisis support. ACTTAY offers a team approach through a psychiatric provider, registered nurse, licensed counselor, employment/education specialist, substance use specialist, case manager, and peer specialist providing ongoing, individualized care and support. Individuals receive services in their homes, where they work, and in other settings in the community where problems occur or where support is needed.
