PFH Obtains Three Significant Funding Awards
PFH recently received three, multi-year awards for federal funds relating to domestic violence services, child welfare, and Substance Use Disorder services. Each of the awards is significant and will greatly impact our ability to serve clients in need. Pregnant and Postpartum Women's Services (PPWS) Project This project will expand trauma-informed, evidence-based, gender-focused, family-centered residential prevention, treatment, and recovery services for residents of four counties of Southwest Missouri. Preserving Families through Partnerships (PFTP) Project Preserving Families through Partnerships uses a trauma-informed and responsive evidence-based, family and community-centered process to preserve families and enhance family and child well-being in six counties of Southwest Missouri. Domestic Violence Services This funding, through the Victims of Crimes Act and administered by the Missouri Department of Public Safety and the Missouri Department of Social Services, will enable PFH to provide direct services including sexual assault and rape treatment centers, domestic violence programs and shelters, and mental health services. PFH provides these services in both St. Charles and Lincoln counties of Missouri.
