PFH Kicks Off 2016 by Welcoming "Bridgeway Behavioral Health" and "Partners in Your Community"
2016 is off to a vibrant start for Preferred Family Healthcare as we welcome the Bridgeway Behavioral Health and Partners in Your Community into our family of services. Partners in Your Community is located in El Dorado Springs, MO and provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities so that they can live in their own home in their own community. These clients and employees will be further supported by our offices in Nevada and Bolivar. With Partners in Your Community joining our ranks, we will now have over 1100 employees providing community living support across Missouri. Meanwhile, across the state in the Eastern Region of Missouri, Bridgeway Behavioral Health, a large provider of Substance Use Disorder services with 13 locations and over 200 employees has joined our family. Together, we are at the forefront in providing treatment and prevention services throughout the Greater St Louis area. Supporting a six county area, plus the City of St Louis, Bridgeway provides medically monitored detoxification, residential, outpatient, and Domestic Violence services. With this merger comes "The Farm"! "The Farm" is a unique program located on 96 beautiful acres near Winfield, MO where we provide 60-90 day residential program for adolescent boys. Therapeutic services and on-site schooling are combined with outdoor activities including equine therapy and sports. Bridgeway's expertise with domestic violence is widely recognized! A women's shelter in St Charles and an array of supports are part of this dynamic program. In the St Louis area, we will have dual branding in our services with our locations in the area retaining the names they are currently using (Preferred Family Healthcare or Bridgeway). Mike Morrison, the former CEO of Bridgeway will assume the role of providing support and oversight to all Substance Use Disorder and Domestic Violence services in the Greater St Louis Area. Mike has a long history of experience with Substance Use Disorders and we are excited that he will continue to serve in leadership working to fill gaps and meeting the needs of individuals in St. Louis and surrounding communities. Cori Putz will continue to provide support to Mike and all of these programs, in addition to the Springfield, MO and Arkansas programs. With the addition of Bridgeway, we will now have over 500 employees in the Greater St Louis Area, and over 1000 employees working in the field of Substance Use Disorders in our five state region. Great things are happening as we continue to grow and we welcome our newest employees to our PFH family!
