The Assisted Living Program offers
either long-term or short-term housing as well as other support services including 24-hour supervision, meals, transportation to local doctor's offices, employment, and religious worship, medical oversight and drug administration, as well as recreational activities and outings.The Assisted Living Program is operated by
a licensed nursing home administrator. To assist the administrator is a Director of Nursing. The Director provides training for the personal care assistants who directly provide care for the residents. These qualified staff attend training on an ongoing basis.Other support staff include
licensed practical nurses who administer medications and oversee patient care, residential coordinators who train and schedule the personal care assistants, a social service coordinator who assists the resident council and organizes activities each week, and transporters to make sure individuals get to work and doctor appointments as well as coordinates other transportation needs.Our Community Support Specialist serve
as the professional liason with referral sources, employers, medical professionals, attorneys, and other community resources. CSS's teach life skills and coordinate aftercare. They access community resources for assistance with housing, utilities, clothing, education, childcare and healthcare. CSS's address how to have sober "fun" and encourage healthy social activities.Our facility accommodates 57 individuals in companion rooms. Those who might be interested in living in the facility could need temporary assistance with everyday living until they can transition to community living or be someone who might need a stronger support system for a life-time.
